About Us

~ Our farm's Grow Boss, Dave, is also known as "Crazy Composer". Dave likes to learn and share knowledge of growing this plant with -and from- the Grow Community.  In high school, he was a member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America, botany major).

He went on to be a propagation tech, then a nursery foreman, and finally a wholesale manager at one of the country's largest landscape plant nurseries, in the mid to late 1990's. Dave had still not smoked cannabis at this stage. As soon as he did, though (at the ripe old age of 24 years old) the bullshit blinds came off, and he was suddenly free to use his plant knowledge and passion on his new favorite hobby... WEED GROWING.

He was a regular contributor to cannabis magazines, writing "Strain Reviews" and cultivation-related articles for High Times Magazine, HEADS Magazine, SKUNK Magazine, etc. Was a "Mentor" on OVERGROW.com and at ICMag.com.
